American Dream Presents x Nothing But Sportz: Caribbean Clash Fight Series
American Dream Presents, led by Ronald “The American Dream” Johnson, has officially partnered with Steven Marcano of Nothing But Sportz to launch a groundbreaking 10-fight boxing series—Caribbean Clash. The first event kicks off August 9th at the iconic James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida, and marks the beginning of a historic run aimed at celebrating and uplifting boxing talent from across the Caribbean.
This new partnership represents more than just fights—it’s a cultural movement. Johnson and Marcano created Caribbean Clash as a platform to honor the incredible legacy of Caribbean fighters while providing new opportunities for emerging talent. The series will tour major Florida markets including Miami, Orlando, and—making history—plans to host the first-ever major fight night in Key West.
For Ronald Johnson, this series is deeply personal. The passing of his longtime trainer and mentor Mike McCallum, the Jamaican-born boxing legend and Hall of Famer, inspired Johnson to carry on the torch of Caribbean greatness in the sport. “Mike believed in legacy,” Johnson says. “And this is my way of honoring his.”
The Caribbean has produced some of the most iconic names in boxing history—Lennox Lewis, Felix Trinidad, Hector ‘Macho’ Camacho, Andre Berto, and many more who brought power, pride, and passion to the ring. Caribbean Clash is here to keep that legacy alive and thriving, giving fans thrilling matchups while spotlighting fighters from islands often overlooked in today’s boxing landscape.
This fight series also sets the stage for something even bigger—the upcoming launch of the Nothing But Sportz streaming app. This next-generation platform will showcase hours of original sports content, including brand-new reality shows, documentaries, and exclusive fight coverage. Leading the content slate is the highly anticipated return of the reality boxing show “Knockout”, created by Steven Marcano, which previously ran for three successful seasons across multiple networks. Plans for Season 4 are already underway.
This isn’t the first time these two innovators have shaken up the fight game. In 2021, Ronald Johnson brokered a major broadcast deal with Bally Sports, bringing high-level boxing to millions of homes across the U.S. That same year, he made headlines by signing influencer superstar Logan Paul to a professional boxing contract, proving Johnson’s ability to merge culture, entertainment, and athletics at the highest level.
The rise of Nothing But Sportz also marks the reemergence of NRage Sports Management—the same powerhouse that once signed boxing’s biggest name, Floyd Mayweather, and helped launch the career of Ronald Johnson himself. Now, in a full-circle moment, Johnson, Steven Marcano, and sports and entertainment legend Louis Eric “B” Barrier (of Eric B. & Rakim) are back in the boxing game—reviving a vision, creating legacy, and delivering fight nights that fuse history, culture, and entertainment.
It all begins August 9th in Miami!!!!
